Lucknow, Apr 24 (PTI) Uttar Pradesh government today decided to give up to 80 per cent subsidy on seeds for Bundelkhand region under a special package.
A decision in this regard was taken at a Cabinet meeting chaired by Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath here this evening.
"Earlier, the subsidy was 50 per cent, which has now been increased up to 80 per cent", state Agriculture Minister Surya Pratap Shahi told reporters.
The Cabinet also decided to change pattern of UP Public Service Commission examination and now the interview will be of 100 marks instead of 200 marks. The entire examination will be of 1600 marks including 1500 marks for written papers instead of 1700 marks, government spokesman and cabinet minister Sidharth Nath Singh said.
Medical Science will also be included as an option subject in the examinations, he added.
