As per a report by RushLane, the updated Maruti Brezza is expected to retain its existing 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine while introducing a heavily localised 1.0-litre turbo-petrol option. This addition aims to leverage taxation benefits for sub-four-metre vehicles with engines under 1,200cc, potentially offering a more competitive price point alongside enhanced performance.

Additionally, the facelifted model is anticipated to feature a revised CNG variant with an underbody-mounted cylinder layout, a configuration that addresses previous limitations by freeing up valuable luggage space.
