The BMW X1 LWB measures an additional 116mm in overall length, with 110mm going directly into the wheelbase to reach a total of 2,800mm, which expands boot space to 540 litres. Under the hood, it is expected to offer two petrol engine options: a 1.5-litre turbo-petrol unit generating 154 bhp and 230 Nm of torque with front-wheel drive, and a 2.0-litre turbo-petrol motor producing 204 hp and 300 Nm of torque with optional all-wheel drive, both paired with a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission.
