Honda is expanding its premium motorcycle portfolio in India with the upcoming introduction of the XR300 L and the XR300 Rally. Expected to arrive in November 2026, these models mark the Japanese manufacturer's official entry into the entry-level dual-sport and adventure motorcycle segments.
As per a report by Autocar India, the standard XR300 L is projected to carry an ex-showroom price between Rs 2.00 lakh and Rs 2.10 lakh. Meanwhile, the more touring-oriented XR300 Rally is estimated to cost between Rs 2.20 lakh and Rs 2.30 lakh. While official confirmation regarding exact timelines is pending, the motorcycles are designed to target riders seeking accessible off-road capability. Styling and Variant Differences
The two motorcycles cater to distinct preferences within the adventure category. The XR300 L adopts a traditional dual-sport configuration featuring minimal bodywork suited for rough tracks and daily utility.
In contrast, the XR300 Rally incorporates Dakar-inspired fairings, a taller windscreen for wind protection during long-distance rides, and Honda RoadSync smartphone connectivity. Both variants are expected to utilize purpose-built chassis setups tailored for varied terrain.
Engine and Hardware Specifications
Underneath the bodywork, both models share a 293.5cc single-cylinder engine derived from the CB300F platform.
