Jeep Compass has been a game changing product for the American car maker ever since it was launched in the country. To further strengthen its hold in the segment, the car manufacturer has launched a limited edition Compass Bedrock in India with a starting price of Rs. 17.53 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi). Based on the Sport trim, the limited edition Compass Bedrock is available in diesel engine only and gets cosmetic updates outside as well as inside. The limited edition of Compass SUV is offered in three color options - Vocal White, Minimal Grey and Exotica Red. The overall appeal of the SUV is accentuated by blackened 16-inch alloy wheels, body decals and blacked-out roof rails. Inside the cabin, the new SUV gets a 5.0-inch infotainment system with reversing camera along with Bedrock badging on the seat covers and floor mats. Coming to the safety features, the new Compass Bedrock Edition is equipped with dual airbags, ABS with EBD, traction control, all disc brakes, power adjustable ORVMs, electric parking brake as standard equipment.

Under the hood, the Jeep Compass Bedrock edition is offered with a 2.0-litre diesel engine that is capable of producing 173hp of maximum power and comes mated to a 6-speed manual gearbox sending power to the front wheels. As far as the prices are concerned, the special edition of the Compass is slotted in between Sport and Longitude trims that gets a price tag of Rs. 17.53 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi).

Moreover, the American is speculated to introduce Trail rated version of the Compass SUV in the domestic market soon. The company is also expected to introduce the Renegade facelift in the Indian market soon. The company is also working on sub-4m SUV for the Indian market.
