After launching Seltos SUV in India, Kia Motors will be launching its second product - Carnival MPV in the country next month. To be launched in Delhi at Auto Expo 2020, the Kia Carnival is dubbed as a perfect alamagation of luxury and amazing performance. The upcoming Carnival MPV from Kia Motors will be launched in three trims - Premium, Prestige & Limousine. Here's everything you should know about Kia's upcoming Carnival MPV offering host of new safety features and luxury. Exteriors- The exterior design of Kia Carnival will be underlined by a wide, upright ‘tiger-nose’ grille with wrap-around LED Projection headlamps featuring LED DRLs. Additional highlights of the MPV are sweptback silhouette with long bonnet, floating roof design, 18-inch sputtering finish alloys, wide LED rear lamps, broad metal surfaces, dual panel electric sunroof and much more.

Dimensions- The upcoming Kia Carnival MPV will measure 5115mm in length, 1985mm in width and 1740mm in height. The wheelbase of the MPV will stand at 3060mm. Its boot space is listed at 540 litres but not specified in which seat configuration.

Bookings- As far as the bookings are concerned, the company has officially started the pre-bookings of the new Carnival 2020 MPV in India. The interested customers can pre-book the Carnival MPV online via official website with upfront payment of Rs 1 lakh.

Colours - The upcoming Kia Carnival MPV will be offered in three exciting shades - Glacier White Pearl, Steel Silver & Aurora Black Pearl.

Interiors- The forthcoming Kia Carnival MPV will Black Beige two tone paint scheme on the Premium and Prestige trim levels. However, the top-of-the-line trim - Limousine will get premium Nappa leather upholstery along with wood garnish enhancing the overall appeal of the cabin. Moreover, the Kia Carnival MPV will be offered with 7-seat, 8-seat and 9-seat layouts.

Engine Specifications- As far as the mechanical front is concerned, the Kia Carnival MPV will be offered in a single powertrain option. It will be powered by a 2.2-litre four-cylinder CRDi VGT diesel BS6 compliant engine that will be tuned to make 200PS @ 3,800 rpm against 440Nm of torque between 1500-2750 rpm. The engine will be paired with an 8-speed Sportsmatic transmission.

Features- Coming to the features, the MPV will be equipped with class-leading features such as dual-panel sunroof, tri-zone auto AC, UVO connected car technology, rear entertainment system, auto headlamps, power-sliding rear doors, auto defogger, and much more. The top-spec Carnival will be seen with two 10.1-inch touchscreen displays as well as premium Harmon-Kardon 8-speaker audio system. For Safety, the MPV will get dual airbags, ABS with EBD, all-disc brakes, ISOFIX child seats, rear parking sensors, rear view camera and much more.

Competition & Prices: The company is expected to launch the new Carnival MPV in India around Rs 30 lakh (ex-showroom). When launched in India, the MPV will be positioned against Toyota Vellfire & Mercedes-Benz V-Class.
