Kia Syros EV India Launch on July 23; From Price to Specs and Features, Everything to Expect

Kia is preparing to launch the Syros EV in India, with the electric sub-compact SUV recently spotted undisguised in Bangalore. The model carries over the unconventional design language from its internal combustion engine sibling, featuring vertically mounted headlamps and a distinctive floating roof effect.

The vehicle is expected to hit the market on 23 July with a design that emphasises a tall stance and rugged aesthetics. Kia Syros EV Specifications and Features

The Kia Syros EV is expected to be offered with two battery pack options, mirroring the setup seen in the Carens Clavis EV. The 42 kWh battery variant produces 135 PS and 255 Nm of torque, with a claimed range of 404 km, while the 51.4 kWh battery option delivers 171 PS and 255 Nm of torque, providing a claimed range of 490 km.

Both configurations utilise a front-wheel-drive drivetrain. Inside, the cabin features a triple-screen layout comprising an infotainment system, a dedicated climate control display, and a digital instrument cluster. The equipment list is expected to include ventilated front and rear seats, a panoramic sunroof, an 8-speaker Harman Kardon sound system, and a 360-degree camera. Kia Syros EV Price in India

The Kia Syros EV is expected to launch with a price range between INR 14 lakh and INR 18 lakh (ex-showroom) and will compete against the Tata Nexon EV and the MG Windsor EV.
