The next-generation Triumph Tiger 1200 Rally Explorer has been leaked ahead of its official debut while being ridden by Dakar Rally winner Sam Sunderland. Sunderland was spotted on the upcoming machine from London as part of an attempt to set a new global record for the fastest motorcycle circumnavigation of the world.

As per a report by carandbike, the motorcycle ridden by Sunderland appears to be the upcoming 2027 model rather than the current generation. The leaked images highlight a redesigned LED headlight configuration paired with a front-facing radar sensor positioned directly above the lamps. While the current variant features rear radar-based blind-spot assistance, the addition hints at expanded front radar functionality and advanced rider-assistance technology. Hero Glamour X ABS Launched at INR 1.01 Lakh, Gets ABS and Cruise Control.

Design Tweaks and Expected Specifications

Beyond the updated lighting and front radar hardware, the upcoming adventure tourer looks largely consistent with the existing lineup. The mechanical package is expected to be carried forward, retaining the 1,160cc inline three-cylinder engine that generates 150 bhp of power and 130 Nm of torque.

Observations from the leak also show a 19-inch front wheel on Sunderland's motorcycle instead of the standard 21-inch unit, though this variation might be tailored specifically for the round-the-world record attempt. The machine maintains a heavy-duty stance, matching the current model's 262 kg weight and 30-litre fuel capacity. Suzuki Gixxer, Gixxer SF, Gixxer 250, Gixxer SF 250 and Gixxer SF 250 FFV Range Gets New Colour Options in India; Check Prices.
