Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) has secured a major technology services mandate from US consumer electronics retailer Best Buy, successfully outbidding competitors including Accenture and Wipro. The multi-year deal involves taking over the operations of Best Buy's India global capability centre (GCC) located in Bengaluru.

The contract was awarded following a competitive request for proposal process, driven by aggressive service-level agreements and pricing efficiencies offered by the Indian IT major.
