After making a mark with his debut films, Beyond The Clouds and Dhadak, Ishaan Khatter is all set to impress us with his acting chops once again in Mira Nair's upcoming series, A Suitable Boy, based on Vikram Seth's novel by the same name. Ishaan recently took to Instagram to share the first look of the series as he put up a still featuring himself and Tabu. The still features him along with Tabu on a porch swing and he is seen in quite a different look as he sports a moustache for this project. In the series, Ishaan will be seen essaying the role of Maan Kapoor, the rebellious son of politician Mahesh Kapoor to be played by Ram Kapoor. As pert the novel, Maan finds himself attracted to a beautiful courtesan Saaeda Bai to be essayed by Tabu in the series. From the still, we can certainly say filmmaker Mira Nair will be once again spreading her magic with her gifted storytelling.

The six-part series will be produced by Lookout Point for BBC One. The screenplay has been penned by Andrew Davies.
