Ayushmann Khurrana's latest release Article 15 is now in its second week and will soon enter the Rs 50 crore club. Directed by Anubhav Sinha, the crime drama has been going rocky steady at the ticket windows despite new releases, the Kabir Singh wave and the going cricket word cup. The film released on June 28 and garnered amazing reviews from the critics. Considering the trailer of Article 15 had left everyone impressed, it wasn't surprising to see the film get off to a good start at the domestic box office. And now its pulling the crowd to the cinema halls purely on its merit of being a good film. Talking about the box office figures, film trade analyst Taran Adarsh took to the microblogging site Twitter a while back and revealed, "#Article15 braves new releases [#SpiderMan], holdover titles [#KabirSingh], cricket matches [#CWC19] and torrential rains, yet stays strong... Nears ₹ 50 cr mark... [Week 2] Fri 2.65 cr, Sat 4 cr, Sun 5.35 cr. Total: ₹ 46.21 cr. India biz."

Further, a report in Boxofficeindia.com has stated, "Article 15 recorded a good second weekend with figures around 11.75 crore nett which is a just a little over 40% down from the first weekend. The ten day figures are almost 46 crore nett and the film should emerge a HIT although it has to get over the hurdle of a possibility of two big cricket matches."
Article 15, which won the Audience Award at the 10th edition of London Indian Film Festival this year, also features Nassar, Manoj Pahwa, Sayani Gupta, Kumud Mishra, Mohammed Zeeshan Ayyub, Veen and Sumbul Touqeer in pivotal roles.
