After three years of its release, Salman Khan's Bajrangi Bhaijaan has found a release slot in China and is enjoying some really good box office run there. Thanks to the success of Aamir Khan's last two movies Dangal and Secret Superstar, Bollywood movies are seen with genuine admiration by the Chinese audiences, and Bajrangi Bhaijaan is now enjoying those fruits. Released under the title Little Lolita Monkey God Uncle (don't ask!), the movie has got off to a flying start, even though the DVD's are already out and Salman Khan's film has already got a lot of reruns on television.

As per trade analyst Taran Adarsh, the movie has collected Rs 34.97 crore in two days in China, with Saturday's collections bettering the opening day. Despite the fact that it was released along with five other movies, Bajrangi Bhaijaan has managed to get attention amidst the viewers, though we have to see if Salman Khan can manage to bring the same kind of respect and admiration that Aamir Khan commands in China. Salman Khan's film does have an advantage though - It has been released in 8000 screens in China, which is considered a record for being the biggest Bollywood movie release in China. Dangal and Secret Superstar released on 6000 and 5000 screens respectively. It has also managed to overshadow the lifetime collections of Aamir Khan's 3 Idiots.

As of now, Bajrangi Bhaijaan remains Salman Khan's only movie to have grossed  more than Rs 200 crore worldwide. It also became the fifth highest worldwide earners in Indian cinema behind Dangal - Rs 2,122.3 crore (USD330 million), Baahubali 2: The Conclusion - Rs 1,710.66 crore (USD260 million), Secret Superstar - Rs 965 crore (USD 150 million) and PK - Rs 854 crore (USD 140 million). Back home, Bajrangi Bhaijaan had earned Rs 320.34 crore at the box office

Bajrangi Bhaijaan is directed by Kabir Khan, and also stars Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Kareena Kapoor Khan and Harshaali Malhotra. Bajrangi Bhaijaan is often considered as Salman's most critically acclaimed movie of this decade.
