Bala cruised past this number and opened to an earning of Rs 10.15 crores at the India box office. The film's box office run during the week days has remained quite similar to Dream Girl. With as many as four new releases this week including Marjaavaan and Motichoor Chaknachoor in Bollywood whereas Ford V Ferrari and Charlie's Angels in Hollywood, the film was bound to see drop. . The film is expected to wrap up its second weekend with a collection of approximately 85 crores which would be quite good given that it will be facing competition from Marjaavaan which despite its poor reviews has chances of collecting decent numbers thanks to its genre.
