While Akshay Kumar's Mission Mangal has turned out to be a big crowd puller, John Abraham's Batla House is also entertaining the masses big-time in the cinema halls. Both the films arrived in theatres together on August 15 and since have been doing really good business at the Indian box office. Batla House, which is directed by Nikhil Advani, opened well at the ticket windows on day 1 and then went on to get cash registers ringing over the first weekend. After surpassing the Rs 50 crore mark at the domestic box office, John starrer has remained stable at the ticket windows and is now heading towards the Rs 70 crore mark in India. Batla House Box Office Collection Day 7: John Abraham's Film Fares Decently on Wednesday, Surpasses the Rs 60 Crore Mark

According to BollywoodHungama, on Thursday, the movie collected Rs 3.78 crore, bringing its total 8-day collection to Rs 65.84 crore. Interestingly, Batla House had done pretty well in international markets too. As per Boxofficeindia.com, Batla House has performed best in Delhi and Uttar Pradesh. Since there is no big release this week, John and Mrunal Thakur's film has one more week to mint as much money as possible. In fact, Batla House will easily surpass the lifetime collection of John's last release Satyameva Jayate which raked in Rs 80.50 crore by the end of its theatrical run. However, things will definitely slow down at the box office from next Friday onwards as Saaho and Chhichhore are set to release on August 30.
