After impressing the audience with his bang-on comic timing and witty one-liners in Hindi Medium, actor Irrfan Khan, who had returned from London last month after undergoing treatment for neuroendocrine tumour, is back to the movies and has even started shooting for the sequel to Hindi Medium, titled Angrezi Medium in Udaipur. The film officially went on the floors in Udaipur on Friday. Talking about the female star who will be joining Irrfan in the Hindi Medium 2, it was earlier being speculated that Bollywood diva Kareena Kapoor Khan has been approached by the makers of the film. However, the revelation about the same has been made by actress Radhika Madan, who plays a pivotal role in the film. Yes, you read that right! Kareena indeed is a part of Angrezi Medium. The actress, who is currently shooting for Akshay Kumar's Good News, will be seen sharing the screen with Irrfan Khan in the second instalment of Hindi Medium which is titled as Angrezi Medium 2. Confirming the news, Radhika, on Sunday, took to the photo-sharing app to share a picture of a clapperboard and captioned the post as, "As excited as the man behind! So so so grateful for this new journey. @irrfan @homster @maddockfilms #kareenakapoorkhan #dineshvijan." Yes, you got it right! Radhika, while mentioning the names of all the lead stars and the team of the film in her caption, has also tagged Kareena in it, confirming her on being the part of the movie.

Well, with Kareena’s addition to the film, we are surely waiting for the film to hit the screens. Helmed by Homi Adajania of Cocktail fame, the film will tell a new story about Irrfan’s onscreen daughter, who goes to London for higher studies. Bankrolled by Dinesh Vijan, the film features Radhika Madan as Irrfan's daughter. The crew will be shooting in Rajasthan till April end, after which they move to London as in the film Irrfan's daughter has aspirations of studying abroad. Watch this space for further updates.
