With just one Indian show, international streaming giant Netflix has created a huge market for themselves in our country. Sacred Games, produced by Reliance Entertainment, Phantom Films and Netflix, has been getting high praise from both the critics and the viewers for its content, performances and the characters. Starring Saif Ali Khan, Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Radhika Apte in the lead, the series is based on author Vikram Chandra's best-seller by the same name. Anurag Kashyap and Vikramaditya Motwane had directed the dual-narrative series.
If you have seen Sacred Games, you know that it ends on a cliffhanger as Inspector Sartaj Singh (Saif Ali Khan) finally finds out how terrorists are planning to destroy Mumbai. It also means that what we saw was just the first season. Saif Ali Khan had earlier hinted that there will be three more seasons for the show, and the shoot for the second season will commence soon.
Now that many viewers are done with the show, they just can't get over the curiosity of how the season has ended. Many have taken to Twitter to demand for the second season with the hashtag #WeWantSacredGames2. As fans of Sacred Games, we are with them on this!

I finished the whole season in 1 night, its damn gripping. The moment you get over with one you start waiting for the next #WewantSacredGames2 @NetflixIndia @VikramMotwane @anuragkashyap72 @RelianceEnt @FuhSePhantom pic.twitter.com/zIWrqrIkWz

It is not just that the lead performers got away with the praise. Even supporting players like Kubbra Sait's Kukoo, Jitendra Joshi's Katekar, Rajshri Deshpande's Subhadra, Jatin Sarna's Bunty, Luke Kenny's Malcolm, Neeraj Kabi's DCP Parulkar and Elnaaz Norouzi's Zoya have become some sort of iconic characters.
With so much demand and love for the show, we are surprised that the producers haven't confirmed the release date of the second season. Come one, people, #WeWantSacredGames2.
