Dhadak Movie Screening: Shahid Kapoor, Mira Rajput, Malaika Arora, Rekha Flock Over to Yashraj to Watch Janhvi Kapoor's Debut Film With Ishaan Khatter - View Pics

Bollywood celebrities serenaded the front gates of Yashraj Studios last night as they screened Janhvi Kapoor and Ishaan Khatter starrer Dhadak. The film has been hogging quite a lot of attention for the new star cast, the Hindi rendition of a National award Winning Marathi film and of course, Zingaat! While Ishaan already made his debut with Iranian legend, Majid Majidi's Beyond The Clouds, this is Janhvii's first film. Dhadak's trailer has been quite promising, despite the flak it received for not showcasing the main essence of the plot, the caste and class discrimination. In all defence though, even Sairat's trailer didn't shed light on that subject.

Let's not get into that since we'll be learning about it sooner than later when the film releases. For now, let's focus on all the stars who shone the pathways of Yashraj, waltzing hand-in-hand in the company of their pals, for movie's night out. From the pictures shared by our shutterbug, we spotted Shahid Kapoor, Mira Kapoor, Rekha, Malaika Arora, Karisma Kapoor, Sonakshi Sinha, Karthik Aaryan, Khushi Kapoor, Boney Kapoor, Neha Dhupia, Angad Bedi, Huma Qureshi, Saqib Saleem and more. Interestingly, Janhvi's competition, Sara Ali Khan was also spotted attending the screening. For those unaware, Sara will also be making her big Bollywood debut this year alongside Sushant Singh Rajput in Abhishek Kapoor's Kedarnath.

Janhvi and Ishaan, caught the first flight out to Mumbai last night after completing the final leg of their promotional tour, moments before the screening. Directed by Shashank Khaitan, the film, which is a Hindi remake of 2016 Marathi movie Sairat. Dhadak is set to release on July 20, 2018.
