Quite honestly, the first six months of 2018 haven't been the best so far if Bollywood movie songs are taken into consideration. However, there have been a few chartbusters which have managed to do slightly better than the other songs of the respective films, which is what makes them the hits of the first half of 2018. As June comes to an end, here's taking a look at top 5 trending Bollywood movie songs of 2018's first half.

1. Song: Dhadak title track

Movie: Dhadak

Actors: Janhvi Kapoor and Ishaan Khatter

Dhadak title track is one of the most beautiful romantic numbers that we've come across so far. Dhadak's trailer was good enough to get people talking and now, with the title track out, Janhvi and Ishaan's chemistry is what we are definitely looking forward to watching this year!

2. Song: Tareefan

Movie: Veere Di Wedding

Actors: Kareena Kapoor, Sonam Kapoor, Swara Bhasker and Shikha Talsania

Talking about chartbusters and not counting Tareefan from Veere Di Wedding would be totally unfair! Just like the movie, the song too is super hit. The Veeres setting the temperatures soaring with their moves and Badshah adding his own charm to the music has done wonders for the song! Not just the first half of 2018, Tareefan is easily among the trending chartbusters of this year.

3. Song: Bom Diggy

Movie: Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety

Actors: Kartik Aryan, Suny Nijar, Sakshi Malik

Dil Chori Sada and Bom Diggy are both my personal favourites from Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety! Bom Diggy is one of the most happening party anthems of this year. Thankfully, the remix version is as good as the original one featuring Zack Knight and Jasmin Walia.

4. Song: Ae Watan

Movie: Raazi

Actors: Alia Bhatt, Vicky Kaushal

Arijit Singh's beautiful vocals make Ae Watan from Raazi one of the trending songs of this year. The lovely track featuring Alia Bhatt showcases Sehmat's dedication toward her country and how she is ready to risk it all for her motherland.

5. Song: Binte Dil

Movie: Padmaavat

Actors: Ranveer Singh, Jim Sarbh

Ranveer Singh and Jim Sarbh's chemistry in Binte Dil is something that fans just couldn't get enough of! How we wish to see them together in another movie sometime soon!
