Even though no one is ready to admit it, there is definitely some bad blood between Priyanka Chopra and Salman Khan. As you might be aware by now, Priyanka Chopra was all set to make a big comeback to Bollywood with Bharat, after a gap of two years. However, mere days before her shoot, Priyanka walked out of the film with no proper reason given by her to the media. While the reason she gave for her exit to the makers of Bharat was her impending marriage to Nick Jonas, Salman Khan and co had every reason to believe that it was just an excuse and were reportedly annoyed with her. With her exit from Bharat, Priyanka has not only angered Salman, but also Arpita as well who had recommended her for the film. There have been reports that Priyanka and Arpita have buried the hatchet at the recent bash held by fashion designer, Manish Malhotra. Contrary to some reports, Priyanka and Arpita didn't bond at the party at all. For the matter, Arpita and Priyanka avoided each other by arriving and leaving at different times.

An informer told us, "Usually, when it comes to Manish Malhotra parties, Arpita stays throughout the duration. However, this time, she came and stayed for just half an hour before she left the venue. Soon after, Priyanka Chopra made her grand entrance. It really felt like these two had planned their schedules this way to avoid each other." This is definitely a tactic that Bollywood celebs use when they have to avoid each other while attending a common friend's party. Also, there were no pictures of Priyanka and Arpita together at the party. So much for their so-called bonding.

Interestingly Priyanka had recently showered praise on the trailer of Loveratri, that stars Arpita's husband Aayush Sharma. But her extension of olive branch seems to have met with a cold response.

During the trailer launch of Loveratri in New Delhi, Salman Khan had finally opened up about Priyanka's walkout. He had said, "We got to know about her decision of leaving the film at the end moment- just 10 days before her schedule. Priyanka had come home and I told her, 'It's okay if you don't want to do it'. At that time, we were given some other reason. Whatever may be the reason - be it marriage or picture or her not being willing to work in India or with me, it's her reason and we are really supportive about her doing good work. If she does not want to work with Salman Khan, it's okay; she's working with a big hero in Hollywood."

Bizarrely, the so-called Hollywood film, Cowboy Ninja Viking, that also starred Chris Pratt, had been postponed indefinitely. So Priyanka could have actually worked on Bharat. She is currently shooting for another Hindi movie, The Sky is Pink, with Farhan Akhtar, while also letting the world speculate when she is getting married to Nick Jonas.
