Shah Rukh Khan has just one Ganpati song to his credit in his career. That song, Mourya Re, came up in his 2006 film Don. A reboot of the Amitabh Bachchan film by the same name, Don was directed by Farhan Akhtar. Shah Rukh Khan had a double role in the film, that of a dangerous, clever Don and his goofy, good-hearted doppelganger. The Mourya Re song marked the introduction of the doppelganger character. But not many know that the actual song has to be recorded twice all because an engineer deleted it accidentally. Farhan Akhtar Has NOT Replaced Priyanka Chopra In Shah Rukh Khan Starrer Don 3

Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy had scored the music for the film. During an interview to the Sunday Soundtrack program on the BBC, they revealed that the song had been accidentally erased by the engineer. They said, "When we asked the engineer to play it, we realized it was gone. It had been erased by mistake. There was absolute silence. We didn't have an option and had to redo it. The engineer was sacked!" Don't blame them for doing so. It is interesting to hear that a song praising the Remover of Obstacles (Vignaharta; one of the many names given to Lord Ganesha) had to face such a big obstacle. Ganeshotsav 2018 Greetings: Best WhatsApp Messages, GIF Images, Facebook Status & SMS to Wish Happy Ganesh Chaturthi on Lord Ganesha’s Birthday

Don was a big success when it came out in 2006 with special praise for its subversive twist. The movie also starred Priyanka Chopra, Boman Irani, Arjun Rampal and Kareena Kapoor Khan. The sequel that came out in 2011 was a bigger success. We hear that Excel Entertainment is in the process of scripting the third film, though there has been no official announcement from Shah Rukh Khan yet.
