Salman Khan might have got an interim relief in the 1998 blackbuck poaching case and his fans might be celebrating his release from jail. But troubles are far from over for the superstar. Unlike his hit-and-run case, he has a very strong opposition from Rajasthan's Bishnoi community who revere that chinkara, an endangered species of deer, that Salman has allegedly hunted down when he was in the area to shoot for Hum Saath Saath Hain. It is their persistent efforts that the Jodhpur Court convicted Salman Khan in the case and sentenced him for five years imprisonment. The co-accused in the case - Tabu, Saif Ali Khan, Neelam and Sonali Bendre - were acquitted due to weak evidence.

Now that Salman Khan has got bail, certain reports state that the Bishnoi community could bring more trouble for the star. As per a report in Emirates 247, there is a possibility that they are looking to ban Salman's upcoming movie Race 3 in Rajasthan. Remember last time when the Karni Sena tried a similar plot with Padmaavat?

A trade source close to the development told the publication, “There has not been any official communication received sent so far, but the community who has been celebrating Salman’s conviction has already told some distributors in the Rajasthan circuit not to screen the film as he is guilty of killing a blackbuck. The Bishnois have given their lives to save trees in Rajasthan and will go out of their way to stop the release of Race 3 in the state.”

This speculation will also bring trouble to the distribution and takeover deal. Apparently three corporate houses are looking to take over Race 3 from Ramesh Taurani who is the producer of the movie. However, the deal might be difficult to go through if there is going to be a fractured release. The source says, "The third part however is much bigger with Salman Khan replacing Saif Ali Khan and the makers have been negotiating with three corporate houses, with one of them already having made an offer. It will be interesting to see what price they offer now to the film because they stand a huge risk releasing in Rajasthan after seeing what happened to Viacom’s Padmaavat in that state.”

As per director Remo D'Souza, the movie's shoot is almost complete. Race 3 also stars Jacqueline Fernandez, Daisy Shah, Saqib Saleem, Bobby Deol and Anil Kapoor. Race 3 is scheduled to release during Eid this year.
