Vidyut Jammwal's newest release Junglee has managed to stay afloat at the box office despite receiving not-so-great reviews from the critics. The jungle drama, which released last week alongside Zaheer Iqbal and Pranutan Bahl starrer Notebook, is directed by Hollywood filmmaker Chuck Russell. Co-starring Pooja Sawant and Asha Bhat in the lead roles, Junglee arrived in theatres on March 29 and got off to a decent start. The film fared well over its first weekend as well but from Monday onwards Vidyut starrer has been having a tough time drawing the audience to the cinema halls. Junglee Box Office Collection Day 5: Vidyut Jammwal's Film Is Struggling at the Ticket Windows, Rakes in Rs 18.15 Crore.

Film trade analyst Taran Adarsh took to the microblogging site Twitter a while back and announced the updated figures. He wrote, "#Junglee Fri 3.35 cr, Sat 4.45 cr, Sun 6.05 cr, Mon 2.40 cr, Tue 1.90 cr, Wed 1.55 cr. Total: ₹ 19.70 cr. India biz."

Since John Abraham's espionage thriller Romeo Akbar Walter is releasing tomorrow, things will definitely slow down further for Junglee at the Indian box office. Apart from RAW, Hollywood superhero film Shazam! is also arriving in theatres and therefore Vidyut's film will certainly feel the heat at the ticket windows from tomorrow onwards. Junglee Box Office Collection Day 3: Vidyut Jammwal's Jungle Drama Collects a Decent Sum of Rs 13.85 Crore in its Opening Weekend.

While Junglee hasn't turned out to be a crowd puller, Vidyut has few more films lined up for this year. The good-looking lad will be seen in Commando 3 alongside Adah Sharma and Gulshan Devaiah.  The action film, which is being directed by Aditya Datt, will release on September 20. Apart from that, Vidyut will also be seen in Power and Yaara.
