Deepika Padukone took a surprising political stand recently without even actually commenting on the ongoing discussions regarding CAA, NRC and NPR. The actress who has been busy with the promotions of her film Chhapaak was in Delhi for the same and after hearing about the recent attack on students and teachers at JNU, decided to pay a visit at the university and was seen standing along with JNSU President Aishe Ghosh and former JNU student Kanhaiya Kumar. As soon as pictures of the actress at JNU surfaced on social media, twitter started to trend #BoycottChhapaak and a BJP leader even asked people to boycott her films alleging that she's a supporter of the 'Tuke Tukde Gang'.
