Popular music composer Khayyam breathed his last on August 19. The singer has left behind the legacy of songs that is timeless. Even after 1000 years, music aficionados would be looking back at his songs. Today, the last rites of the legend were held in Mumbai. Many folks from the industry turned up to pay their last respects to Khayyam. Khayyam was 92. His funeral procession started from his home in Dakshina Park Society to the Four Bungalows Kabrastan. The late music composer was accorded state honours, including a gun salute, as per reports.
