Last year, Rajkummar Rao scored a big hit with a comedy film, Stree. This Diwali, the National Award winning actor is ready to score another with Made in China. Directed by Mikhil Musale who had earlier made Wrong Side Raju, Made in China also stars Mouni Roy, Boman Irani, Paresh Rawal, Sumeet Vyas, Amyra Dastur and Gajraj Rao. It is about a Gujarati salesman who comes across a lucrative business of selling a specific kind of soup from China that allegedly solves sex related problems. Raghu is a wannabe entrepreneur who is having trouble launching a single business of his. With even his family business at risk of going out of his hands, Raghu is at that desperate point in life where he is seeking for that single ray of hope. That ray he finds in a trip to China, which he was forced to go accompany his more successful cousin. It's there he finds what could be a potential game changer - a soup made of tiger penis that could solve sex-related performance issues. The first half begins on an intriguing note, with the death of a Chinese general, before we get to meet Raghu and his problems in life. While not outstanding, Made in China has been moving at a decent pace till now, with a couple of standout scenes. One, involves Paresh Rawal's cameo, and the other is the scene when Raghu meets Boman Irani's sexologist character. Some of the lines are funny, and Rajkummar Rao does a really good job. A pretty Mouni Roy plays his wife, and she is good in her role.
