Marjaavaan has managed to keep things alive at the theatres after the first weekend. The start was slow but it picked up big time on Saturday and Sunday. Monday did see a drop but it wasn't anything that the film wasn't prepared for. The fifth-day collection has been at par as well. On its first Tuesday, the film earned Rs 3.61 crore which took the total to Rs 32.18 crore. It is expected to end the first week with a good Rs 35-38 crore in its pocket. Marjaavaan Actress Tara Sutaria Believes Being Trolled Is Part and Parcel of Her Job

The film starring Sidharth Malhotra, Tara Sutaria and Riteish Deshmukh belongs to the brand of cinema we thought we had gotten over with. But who knew there are still people who love such movies where it's all brawn and only for the beauty. Milap Zaveri no doubt was so confident about this film despite everyone asking him why he thought people would watch a movie like this in this day and age. Single screen crowd is to be thanked for that.

Taran Adarsh's Tweet:

What works for Marjaavaan is that it fills a gap which has been left unattended for all these years -- the cinema of the 90s that 2019 tried to stay away from. Guess one should know how to rehash past...trick lies there!
