It has been some time that we have seen a really good mystery thriller, and perhaps we might have something to remedy that. The trailer for Missing has landed and it is every bit intriguing right from the start till the end. And they have got a really good casting in there. Manoj Bajpayee and Tabu are both considered as acting heavyweights and two of the best performers in Indian cinema. They have even acted in couple of movies together, but both Ghaath and Dil Pe Mat Le Yaar failed to make any kind of impact at the box office, not were they impressive enough for critical acclaim. Looks like Missing might be that movie that could be a project worthy enough of their combined talents.

The trailer shows us a couple, played by Bajpayee and Tabu, who goes to a vacation in a exotic resort, along with their infant daughter. However, the next day, the kid goes missing and the parents, especially the mother, gets frantic about finding the girl. Enter the cops, led by Annu Kapoor, who tries to find who took the girl. In the process, he realises that not everything is right with the couple, as skeletons tumble out of the closet.

Missing marks the debut of Manoj Bajpayee as a producer, who is backing this psychological thriller along with his Aiyaary director Neeraj Pandey. In an earlier interview, he had spoken about working with Tabu and his experience as a producer. He had said, “I want Missing to get a good commercial release with a maximum turnout. Tabu is a very old friend of mine, and has done an amazing job in the film. We’re still waiting to get a proper window for the commercial release. This is my first film as a producer and I won’t produce films anymore because it’s too much work, and too demanding. I get scared when I see the accountants in my house."

Missing is scheduled to release on April 6.
