And Mouni Roy has landed her fourth Bollywood film and it is opposite none other than one of the most revered actors in Bollywood- Nawazuddin Siddiqui. After much deliberation and contemplation, the makers of Bole Chudiyan, locked down Mouni Roy as the female lead opposite Nawaz. Bole Chudiyan is Nawazuddin’s brother Shamas Nawab Siddiqui’s debut directorial, where we will the former play a passionate lover and Mouni will be seen as a fierce and lively small-towner.  The story is set in the town of Budhana in Uttar Pradesh.

Confirming the news to BT, Mouni went on to reveal about her character and said, “I’ve just read the script once and I am already in love with it. While I can’t reveal much, I can just say that she’s a confident girl who thinks on her feet; she can ride a tractor and dance like a dream. She continued, “I’m going to have more readings with the writing team and the director to get deeper insights into the role before we start shooting. The most endearing quality of my character is that she’s real and she speaks her heart. Very excited to be working with Nawaz, an ecstatic Mouni also revealed, “I cannot believe my fortune that I am getting to work with Nawazuddin Siddiqui. I am anxious about sharing the frame with him. He’s immensely talented and what I feel most assured about is that this will be a fantastic learning experience. I am eager to learn from him. I just hope I can justify the team’s faith in me.”

While Mouni Roy has been a name to reckon with in the television industry, she literally struck gold when she bagged Gold opposite Akshay Kumar. She will next be seen in Ayan Mukerji’s Brahmastra as the antagonist and John Abraham’s Romeo Akbar Walter. She has also signed Rajkummar Rao starrer Made in China. Mouni also has two item songs to her credit. There is also talk of Mouni having bagged Aamir Khan's Mogul, but there is no confirmation on the same.
