We have seen her enter the world of television as Krishna Tulsi in Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi. She became more popular playing Sati opposite Mohit Raina in Devon Ke Dev Mahadev and her stint in Naagin. Mouni Roy made her Bollywood with Akshay Kumar's Gold, which became a box office hit. The actress has three more films lined up and is on a film-signing spree. In a recent interview with DNA, Mouni revealed that she is still struggling to make Bollywood her home. She said, "I have been a part of this industry since nine and a half years. Naagin 1 and Naagin 2, in fact, all the shows that I have done be it Mahadev or Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa - they all have been tremendous successes. I have danced at all award functions, attended all of them. So, I never felt like I have been left out. [sic]"

She added, "But, having said that, it's my own inner struggle that I am slightly feeling which is the feeling of being lost. Suddenly you have left your home. Television is like home. So, I have left my home and here it's a new set up, new people and I don't know many of them. So I am still finding my ground but except that everybody is so wonderful. I have never felt left out."

Mouni recently finished shooting for Karan Johar's Brahmastra, which has Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt as the main leads. She will soon wrap up shoot for John Abraham's RAW: Romeo Akbar Walter.
