Finally, it is about to release! What is touted as the biggest and the most expensive film in Indian cinema will come out on November 29. We are, of course, talking about 2.0, the multi-lingual biggie that stars Rajinikanth, Akshay Kumar and Amy Jackson in the lead. 2.0, is the sequel to the 2010 blockbuster, Enthiran aka Robot and is directed by S Shankar who has also helmed the first film. 2.0 is coming out in theatres after months of delay thanks to some very extensive post-production and VFX work. The budget of the film is reportedly ballooned to be more than Rs 500 crore plus. Akshay Kumar – Rajinikanth’s 2.0 to Have a Sequel? Here’s What Filmmaker Shankar Has to Say.

While recovering the budget is definitely a concern, 2.0 already seems to have made a good deal out of its theatrical and satellite rights. As for its box office prospects, Rajinikanth is a huge name down South, as well as overseas. Akshay Kumar, making his South debut here, is a big-ticket name in the North of India and his presence will boost the movie's chances there. Also, the fact that Karan Johar is presenting 2.0 in Bollywood, so that's another big deal.

Any annoyances? The trailers and the songs haven't exactly set things on fire, but if you know Shankar's work, the man's knack of going larger than life, while tackling social issues as well as his eyes for visual appeal should make us excited about 2.02.0 Song Tu Hi Re: Rajinikanth and Amy Jackson Groove to an Unimpressive Number by AR Rahman – Watch Video.

However, 2.0 is not having a free rein at the box office. It is facing some stiff competition from Hollywood.

Creed II, the Rocky series spinoff and the sequel to the critically acclaimed 2015 film Creed. Michael B Jordan returns to play Adonis Creed, the son of slain former boxer Appollo Creed, and this time he will be facing Drago Jr, the son of Russian boxer Ivan Drago, whose punch had killed the former's father. Sylvester Stallone is reprising his role as Rocky Balboa, and so is Tessa Thompson as Creed's wife. However, Ryan Coogler who directed the first film has been replaced by Steven Caple Jr.
