There is no doubt that November 2018 is the most disappointing month this year, despite having two of the biggest films of Indian cinema releasing in this period. Thugs of Hindostan and 2.0 had released in November 2018, and their presence had scared away most of the other films, with very limited movies having the guts to challenge them. Out of the movies that came out to challenge them, a couple of them had been in the cans for years and starred Sunny Deol, while the rest of them came and went without making any flutter. 2.0 Box Office Collection: Forget Thugs of Hindostan, Baahubali 2, Akshay Kumar Fails To Beat The Opening Day Figures of His Own Movies!

That said, the biggies that came out weren't very impressive either. Aamir Khan's Thugs of Hindostan was predicted to even beat the record of Baahubali 2 in being the highest grossing Indian movie. The movie even got off to a good start, earning Rs 51 crore on day 2. However, for a film budgeted at Rs300 crore, TOH only ended up earning half of that making it a huge disaster. While it is too soon talk about 2.0, the Akshay Kumar-Rajinikanth starrer took off to a flying start in South, but the movie has to consistently tremendous business in the days ahead to be profitable. Aamir Khan Takes Full Responsibility for Thugs of Hindostan's Failure.
