The country stands horrified by the disastrous terrorist attack on a CRPF convoy in the Pulwama district of Jammu and Kashmir. While many citizens are mourning the killings of the martyred soldiers, many others are expressing their burning rage towards Pakistan. From banning the country to destroying it, the nation is booming with anger. The Bollywood celebrities have started reacting against this appalling act. The actor is currently riding high on the success of her recent release Manikarnika: The Queen Of Jhansi. However, on hearing the disturbing news of the terror attacks, the actor cancelled the success party of the film which was arranged for tomorrow.

In an interview with PinkVilla, Kangana condemned the terror attacks as she said, “Pakistan has not only violated our nation’s security they have also attacked our dignity by openly threatening and humiliating us, we need to take decisive actions or else our silence will be misunderstood for our cowardice.... Apart from the Queen actor, many other Bollywood celebrities have raised their voices against the daunting carnage. Lyricist-screenwriter Javed Akhtar and his wife and actress Shabana Azmi have turned down the invitation to appear for a programme on poet Kaifi Azmi in Pakistan. The invitation was extended by Karachi Art Council.

Celebrities from the showbiz industry including Shahrukh Khan, Aamir Khan, Alia Bhatt, Shankar Mahadevan, Rishi Kapoor, among others took to Twitter to grieve the loss and offered heartfelt condolences to the families of martyred soldiers.

As per reports, at least 40 soldiers of the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) were murdered and several others critically injured when an explosive-laden vehicle drove into a bus carrying soldiers in Jammu and Kashmir's Pulwama district on Thursday. This attack is one of the most merciless and deadly terror attacks in Indian history since the 2006 Uri military base camp attack.
