Ranveer Singh starrer '83 is easily one of the most talked about films in the making. The Kabir Khan film will relive one of India's most iconic moments in history, the 1983 World Cup win. Ranveer will be reprising the role of Kapil Dev in the film. Now, the newest member to join the squad will be Sacred Games star, Jatin Sarna. The actor who famed Bunty's character from the web series will be seen playing the role of Yashpal Sharma in the film. Last week we heard the news of Marathi actor Adinath Kothare being roped in for the role of Dilip Vengsarkar. Also, South actor R Badree will be essaying Sunil Valson's character.

Jatin Sarna received a lot of praises for his act in Sacred Games. Sarna instantly shot to fame as Bunty and has become a fan favorite when it comes to the Netflix stories. It will be interesting to see Jatin play a more challenging role in 83. Apart from the web series, he has also starred in the recently released SonchiriyaRanveer Singh starrer '83 Gets a New Addition, South actor R Badree to Play Sunil Valson.

'83 will mainly follow the story of how then Captain, Kapil Dev brought together the entire team that defeated West Indies in the 1983 World Cup Finals. It will revolve around the phenomenon of how Cricket truly evolved to become a religion in India and why the sport till today remains so close to the heart of the nation. We have seen a few pictures from the sets of the film where Ranveer was seen practising Cricket. The film is all set to hit the theatres in 2020. With all these casting announcements, it seems the film is shaping up pretty well and we can't wait for the first looks to come out.
