Sanjana Sanghi is gearing up for her debut in Bollywood as a lead actress with Dil Bechara. The Mukesh Chhabra film is also the last screen presence of late actor, Sushant Singh Rajput. With just a couple of days for film's release, Sanjana got candid in an interview about ongoing controversy around Sushant's demise and more. One of the topics that she talked about for once and all is about the #MeToo allegation claims of her against Sushant. Sanjana Sanghi Remembers Dil Bechara Co-Star Sushant Singh Rajput, Says ‘Whoever Said Time Helps Heal All Wounds, Was Lying’.

The 23-year-old actress, in her chat with pinkvilla.com, said that she and Sushant were always on good terms. She even reminded that she had clarified about the matter then but the rumours still went on and on.

The portal quoted her saying, "We were on set shooting everyday. When one or two articles come, then you don't pay heed to it and let it pass. But when it becomes rampant, and there are articles which are baseless, I have no respect for them or the people writing them or the ones believing them."

In the long chat, she also revealed how the late star was all ready to show their chats to prove that nothing was wrong between them. She told, "He asked me, 'Should I put out these chats?' I was like, 'Go for it, maybe that would help.' He then put it out but people still refused to believe us. Then, I came out and spoke about it. The girl who has supposedly accused the boy is giving a clarification and even that doesn't work. That makes sit up and think, 'What kind of a society are we living in?Are we just willing to believe a certain reality? Why can't people accept that we really like each other and are working together to make a beautiful film."

Speaking of Dil Bechara, the movie is releasing on 24 July, 2020. As a tribute to Sushant, the makers decided to make it available for free on Disney+ Hotstar. The subscribers as well as the non-subscribers of the streaming platform will be able to have access to the streaming of the film.
