Sanjay Khan, whom you know better for playing Tipu Sultan in the TV serial The Sword of Tipu Sultan, has recently joined other thespians of his field in penning his autobiography. Titled The Best Mistakes of My Life, the book is available across all bookshops and retails sites. While The Best Mistakes of My Life details the life of the actor, including the period where he suffered a life-threatening injury on the sets of The Sword of Tipu Sultan, there is one 'mistake' that he clearly swept under the rug, with the hope that no one would notice it - the assault of his alleged ex-wife, actress Zeenat Aman in 1979. Zeenat Aman Files Molestation Case Against Businessman: Veteran Bollywood Actress Also Complained Him of Stalking.

If you are not aware of this, Sanjay Khan and the actress was in a relationship during the shoot of the 1980 film Abdullah, that Khan himself had directed. There were reports that they even got secretly married during the shoot. However, things didn't go rosy between the actress and the already married Khan, resulting in a drunken brawl at Mumbai’s Taj Hotel, where a drunken Sanjay Khan allegedly battered Zeenat Aman so badly in the presence of his wife (who reportedly egged him on), resulting in serious injuries on her face and eyes. The actress chose not to pursue the matter legally, which helped Sanjay Khan go scot-free. Sanjay Khan Still Refers to Hrithik Roshan As His Son-in-Law and the Reason Is Valid Enough.

Unfortunately for him, in this time of #MeToo and #TimesUp, such deliberate exclusions never go ignored, even if the victim herself has not spoken anything about it. Many journalists and friends of the actress are up against the book for treating her as a casual note, rather than offer at least a proper apology.

Now 'fans' of Sanjay Khan are coming up with some really absurd defence in favour of the actor, claiming that no such assault took place. They have even found a 'researched' article with photographic evidence that claims the actress suffers from no such injury.

The so-called article even claimed that the writer spoke to the makeup artistes of the actress, who deny putting makeup on her injuries, as was earlier claimed.

The highlight of this research is that they blamed Zeenat Aman's eye damage to a birth defect! They claim that Zeenat Aman’s mother Scindia Heinz was suffering from Strabismus, which is a medical term of a squint, a condition where the eyes point in different directions. They argue that Zeenat Aman has inherited the condition from her mother.

If that's true and no such incident happened, we wonder what the below report, from Cine Blitz, was all about?

Till the actress comes out and talks about this now, we are not sure what's the truth and what's not. However, from our past experiences, we know that autobiographies of popular Bollywood celebs are totally not true, as they hide some very sketchy parts of their lives. And some even use the opportunity to hit back at the detractors.
