New Delhi: Moviegoers have to wait a little longer to watch Sharmin Segal and Meezaan Jaaferi starrer 'Malaal', as now the film will hit theatres on July 5, a few days later than the original date, June 28. Indian film critic and trade analyst Taran Adarsh took to his Twitter handle to make the announcement. "New release date. #Malaal will now release on 5 July 2019. Sanjay Leela Bhansali introduces Sharmin Segal and Meezaan in the film. The film introduces Sanjay Leela Bhansali's niece Sharmil and Meezaan, the son of actor Jaaved Jaaferi. The trailer of the film which was released a week ago depicts how an intense love story of Sharmil and Meezaan takes a tragic turn. According to the trailer, the movie seems to be based out of Maharashtra, with Meezaan being a native of the state and Sharmin an outsider. Initially, Meezaan and curly-haired Sharmin dislike each other and can be seen fighting over trivial issues.
