Thanks to its excellent promos and Ranbir Kapoor's dedicated performance, Sanju has caught the fancy of Bollywood fans. The biopic of the controversial actor Sanjay Dutt is directed by the superhit-maker Rajkumar Hirani and features an ensemble cast. Paresh Rawal and Manisha Koirala play Sanjay Dutt's parents, the late Sunil and Nargis Dutt. Vicky Kaushal plays his best friend, while Sonam Kapoor plays one of his first loves. Dia Mirza is his wife, Manyaata, while Anushka Sharma plays his biographer.

The new song from the movie, Kar Har Maidaan Fateh, is out and it is really an important song in the movie. We have heard it in the background of the trailer and it made for a really powerful listen. Kar Har Maidaan Fateh captures the emotional turmoil of Sanjay Dutt, and the various struggles he faced in his life -  from his drug phase, to his homelessness to the loss of his mother to his jail sentence. The song is composed by Vikram Montrose with lyrics written by Shekhar Astitwa. Sukhwinder Singh and Shreya Ghoshal have sung Kar Har Maidaan Fateh.

The song also gives some of the supporting characters in the movie to shine, like Manisha Koirala's Nargis. Ranbir looks damn terrific in every scene he is in. Also don't miss out that cameo from Tabu!

Sanju is produced by Fox Star Studios and Vidhu Vinod Chopra Films. The movie is scheduled to release on June 29.
