Shah Rukh Khan arrived in style to inaugurate the 25th Kolkata International Film Festival at a packed-to-the-capacity Netaji Indoor stadium. Among the other dignitaries present at the event were Saurav Ganguly, Bollywood actress Rakhee and West Bengal Chief Minister, Mamata Banerjee. SRK shares an amazing bond with the happy city of Kolkata and it wasn't really surprising to see him inaugurate the film festival. In a video shared by the actor's many fan clubs, you can see Rakhee teaching a few Bengali words to SRK as she starts singing one of Rabindranath Tagore's songs, O Amar Desher Mati. Though the actor tries to learn, he later confesses that he didn't understand a word of what he said. "We've worked together in Baazigar. Besides Shah Rukh Khan, even Amitabh Bachchan was supposed to attend the inauguration but he had to withdraw owing to his recent illness. "Amitabhji comes here every time. But he could not turn up. Since last night he is unwell. So doctors have restricted his movements. He is suffering a lot since last night," Mamata Banerjee said at the inauguration programme.
