Sridevi's sad demise earlier this year not only shook the industry but also many of Indian cinema lovers. The actress who wowed us with her performances in films like Sadma, Chandni, Lamhe, English Vinglish etc has passed away in Dubai when she was attending a wedding there. The last movie that she saw the actress in was Mom, for which she posthumously won the National award for the Best Actress. With Sridevi's Demise, Here's Why Ganesh Chaturthi Will Not Be The Same for Janhvi and Khushi Kapoor.

However, that will not be the last time we will be seeing Sridevi on the big screen. She will be seen in a cameo in Shah Rukh Khan's upcoming film, Zero, also starring Katrina Kaif and Anushka Sharma. Recently in an interview to Zoom, Shah Rukh Khan was asked about Sridevi's presence and whether the movie would be a tribute to the late actress. Narendra Jha in Saaho, Sridevi in Shah Rukh Khan's Zero, Om Puri in Salman Khan's Tubelight & Other Celebs' Posthumous Movie Appearances.

To which, he replied, "The sequence you are talking about is not a long sequence. It's not an item...her presence. It's wrong to even say that it is a privilege to have her in the film, because her loss is so great. I hope wherever she is, she makes the world happy with what's she has done."

SRK further added, "I kind of started my career when I did Army with her (not exactly true, though!), and then, she is no more. I have a little scene with her. So it is heartening that way. Though having said that, I wish that she hadn't passed away. None of us wishes that."

He concluded by saying this, "I was just thinking that If we had a trial for the film, she would have been one of the first persons I would have called." Sigh!

Sridevi is not the only actor making a cameo in the film. The movie also features Salman Khan, Kajol, Rani Mukerji, Karishma Kapoor, Juhi Chawla, Deepika Padukone, Alia Bhatt and R Madhavan. However, we are sure that some of the eyes in the theatres will go moist-eyed when one cameo comes on screen. Rest in Peace, Srideviji! Zero will be releasing on December 21.
