Shah Rukh Khan's upcoming projects are making more headlines than all his previous movies combined. The actor is yet to announce his next outing after Aanand L Rai's Zero failed to rake in good numbers at the box office. He's currently enjoying his break but has admitted that he'll announce his future offerings very soon and we wonder if his birthday would be the D-day. There were reports about the actor collaborating with Tamil director Atlee for his new movie and seems like the reports were indeed true. PM Narendra Modi Interacts With Aamir Khan, Shah Rukh Khan at an Event Celebrating 150 Years of Mahatma Gandhi.

It was during a promotional event of Atlee's Bigil, that his fellow director Harish Shankar spilt some beans about King Khan's collaboration with the director. When asked if the duo is indeed collaborating for a project, Shankar said, "I don't know how immediately it's going to happen but I am praying all the Gods to make it happen. Atlee sir is going to direct King Khan. Being a huge fan of SRK, I am waiting for this combo so that I can also come to that function. I am a huge fan of SRK." So we assume the actor is in talks with the director while he's waiting for his verbal confirmation. Kuch Kuch Hota Hai Completes 21 Years: Karan Johar Thanks Fans For Pouring Love on His Shah Rukh Khan-Kajol-Rani Mukerji Starrer Film.

Shah Rukh Khan is also rumoured to be announcing multiple projects on his birthday - one among which could be his association with Rajkumar Hirani. Besides these two projects, the actor was also rumoured to come on board for Ali Abbas Zafar's next with Yash Raj Films. Though Shah Rukh had issued a clarification for the same, we'd still like to wait till we hear his formal announcement about upcoming projects.
