Shubh took to Instagram and posted, saying, "As a young rapper-singer hailing from Punjab, India, it was my lifelong dream to showcase my music on an international stage. However, recent events have disrupted my hard-earned progress, and I want to share my feelings of dismay and sorrow. The cancellation of my tour in India has left me deeply disheartened." He continued, "I was filled with excitement and zeal to perform in my homeland. I had dedicated the past two months to rigorous practice and preparation. I was genuinely thrilled and fully prepared to give my best. Fate, however, had other plans."

Shubh emphasised his connection to India, saying, "India is my country as well. I was born here. It is the land of my Gurus and my Ancestors, who made immense sacrifices for the freedom and glory of this nation. Punjab is my essence; it runs in my veins. Everything I am today, I owe to my Punjabi roots. Punjabis have never needed to prove their patriotism. Throughout history, Punjabis have laid down their lives for this country's freedom. Therefore, I humbly request not to label every Punjabi as a separatist or anti-national." India News | BoAt Withdraws Sponsorship for Canadian Punjabi Singer's India Tour.

Addressing the controversy surrounding his social media post, Shubh clarified, "My intention in sharing that post on my story was solely to offer prayers for Punjab, as there were reports of electricity and internet shutdowns in the state. There was no ulterior motive, and I certainly didn't intend to hurt anyone's sentiments. The accusations against me have deeply affected me."

He added, "As my guru taught me, 'Manas Ki Jaat Sabai Ekai Pachanbo' (Recognize all of humanity as one), and he taught me not to be afraid or intimidated, which embodies the spirit of Punjabiyat. I will continue to work hard, and my team and I will return soon, stronger and more determined. Waheguru Mehar Kare Sarbat Da Bhala (May God's grace be upon everyone)."

Captioning the post, he expressed gratitude, saying, "Thank You Everyone Who Stood By Me. Waheguru Mehar Kre, Sarbat Da Bhala." On Wednesday, BookMyShow announced the tour's cancellation, stating on X (formerly Twitter), "Singer Shubhneet Singh’s Still Rollin Tour for India stands cancelled.
