If you look at any Bollywood critic's best movie of 2018 list, there is a cent per cent chance that AndhaDhun will feature on it. The smartly packaged, high on twists thriller, with dollops of black humour, was directed by Sriram Raghavan and starred Tabu, Ayushmann Khurrana and Radhika Apte in the lead. Thanks to the glowing praises from the critics, AndhaDhun was also a hit at the box office. And now there is a high demand for the remake rights of the film. Ayushmann Khurrana’s Andhadhun is the Highest Rated Indian Film on IMDb in 2018.
Tamil star Siddharth, known for his roles in Boys, Jigarthanda and Hindi film Rang De Basanti, is an actor who is known for taking up risky ventures and roles. Recently, he tweeted an article about AndhaDhun, and in that tweet, he asked his fans if he should remake the film in Tamil (while also hinting at solving the cliff-hanger ending of the original). He insists that he is very serious about it. Ayushmann Khurrana's AndhaDhun, Arjun Kapoor's Namaste England, Aayush Sharma's LoveYatri - If October 2018 Movies Had Honest Movie Titles! View Pics

His fans may have different opinions about the idea, but one man had given his blessing for the project and that is all that matters. Ayushmman Khurrana has tweeted back to Siddharth, asking him to go ahead!

Considering that the response came so fast, we think that a Tamil remake is already in the works. This Twitter love could be the actors' sly way of telling their fans about this development. What say, readers? BTW, dear Siddharth, if you are already on the plans of remaking AndhaDhun, do think of casting Trisha Krishnan or Nayanthara in the role of Tabu!
