It has been over a year since legendary actress Sridevi passed away in an accident. The nation is still to get used to the fact and her movies are still watched with much respect and love. To pay tribute to the actress, Madame Tussauds Singapore unveiled a wax statue on Wednesday. The look of this wax figure is from her much-loved song "Hawa Hawai" from Mr India film. The ceremony was attended by daughter Janhvi Kapoor, Boney Kapoor and Khushi Kapoor. The official Twitter handle of the museum also teased the fans earlier, with the making of the wax statue. The final look in golden attire will surely take many of them on the ride of nostalgia. On the other hand, Janhvi attended the event looking beautiful in a red gown. She is seen touching the wax figure and observing the deets, but the sadness was apparent. Check out the pictures below.

It is indeed hearty to see that the scintillating superstar finally got her own wax statue. The work and legacy that she has left behind is something that cannot be forgotten. Her millions of fans will surely love to see the waxwork in Singapore.

The actress had an accidental death in a bathtub in Dubai. She had flown down to the city to attend her nephew Mohit Marwah's wedding. She was cremated with a gun salute and state honour during her funeral.
