Shahid Kapoor's 'Kabir Singh' might be a box office success, but it has received its share of brickbats and trolls. While cinegoers enjoyed the intense love story, some opined that the film encouraged misogyny. Soon after the success of the film, the filmmaker Sandeep Reddy Vanga discussed in an interview the controversial slap showed in the film where Shahid's character is seen slapping his lady love (played by Kiara Advani).
Dominance and male chauvinism is how the naysayers described it and stated that this is not how love is expressed. In a hilarious video that surfaced on the internet thereafter witnessed filmmaker Goldie Behl slapping 'Sacred Games' star Kubbra Sait aka Kuku. So when we met Behl recently , ahead of the release of his web-series, REJECTX, Bollywood's popular director-producer explained the idea behind that fun video. The man clearly has no objection with the film or the superb performances delivered by the lead actors. But he is not particularly glad about what Sandeep Reddy said in the aforementioned interview.
