Malaal starring debutantes Meezaan Jaffrey and Sharmin Segal look like an intense romantic drama and what works best for such films is the music. Till now, we have seen some amazing foot-tapping numbers from the film such as "Udhal Ho" and "Aila Re" which have received decent responses from the audiences. The song features the budding romance between Meezaan and Sharmin's characters who initially start off on a rough note but soon fall for each other. Rutvik and Anandi's vocals are perfect for a classic love ballad and work well for the film. The song has been composed by Shail Hada and the lyrics have been penned by Vimal Kashyap.

From the trailers and songs, it does look like Meezaan and Sharmin share a good chemistry. Sharmin is popular Bollywood director, Sanjay Leela Bhansali's niece and Meezaan is the son of actor Javed Jaffrey. The two have strong Bollywood connections.
