Malaal starring debutantes Meezaan Jaffrey and Sharmin Segal look like an intense romantic drama and what works best for such films is the music. The film's new song, "Zara Suno" is a romantic number with the lovely vocals of Rutvik Talashilkar & Aanandi Joshi. The song features the budding romance between Meezaan and Sharmin's characters who initially start off on a rough note but soon fall for each other. From the trailers and songs, it does look like Meezaan and Sharmin share a good chemistry. Sharmin is popular Bollywood director, Sanjay Leela Bhansali's niece and Meezaan is the son of actor Javed Jaffrey. The two have strong Bollywood connections. The trailer suggested that Malaal is an intense romantic drama considering it involves a passionate romance that has to stand the test of time as thanks to their divergent backgrounds.
