For all the Armie Hammer fans, sad news is here. Ever since the past week, we have been hearing rumours about Armie being considered for the role of Batman in The Batman, helmed by Matt Reeves. While there have been several names floating about one of the biggest castings, the Call Me By Your Name star has confirmed to not being a part of it. The actor in his recent interview put the rumours to rest.

Armie confirmed that he has not been approached by anyone who's been working on the project. What he further clarified was that the film may still very well be in the scripting process. It looks like this debate on who would be perfect to play the caped superhero will go on for long until the studio finally admits that they have found a match. Ever since actor Ben Affleck announced his retirement, the internet has gone in a tizzy and there have been several names that have come up including Hammer. There have also been reports that the makers are now looking to cast a younger dark knight and hence the guessing game has become strong among fans.

It will be interesting to see who will reprise the role of Bruce Wayne. The film's release date has already been announced to Summer 2021 and even as Ben Affleck passes the baton to a new actor, he seemed to be super enthused about it.
