The first trailer of the upcoming MCU film, Spider-Man: Far From Home has been unveiled. In fact, two trailers of the movie have been released. As expected the new footage makes zero attempts at clarifying the timeline of the movie. Is it set before Avengers: Infinity War or is it set after Avengers: Endgame. No clues. Nada. We know, we know that people from Marvel have said the Tom Holland starrer takes place right after the climax of Endgame. But again, remember that these are the same people who said Avengers 4 won't be called Endgame before the official title reveal.

I mean the biggest question is that we don't know the fate of the superheroes who were disintegrated into ash at the end of Infinity War. Spider-Man included. We have no knowledge of how and if they will be resurrected in Endgame. The new Spider-Man trailer breaks that mystery and actually reveals that he was revived in Endgame? Why would a movie studio ruin its own mystery?

At one point Peter shows the viewers his passport in the new trailer. You'd think you'd see the year and figure out the time period the movie is set in. But no. The makers have very firmly omitted the year from the passport in the trailer.

So, basically, Marvel has us exactly where it wanted us. Debating about the timeline of Spider-Man: Far From Home.

A lot of fans are confused as well.

If you think about it Spider-Man's entry into Infinity War was quite random. He was not supposed to be there where he was. If it was not for a school trip he would not have been there. So, maybe this school trip he talked about was the European trip in Far From Home.

We won't know which time period Spider-Man: Far From Home is set in, until its release in July. Eagerly waiting. We have known Marvel for making sure they maintain the suspense until the last minute but this is torture.
