Storm Reid Joins John Cena and Idris Elba for James Gunn’s Suicide Squad Sequel

Los Angeles: Storm Reid has been roped in to star in The Suicide Squad sequel, to be directed by James Gunn. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the actor will play the daughter of Idris Elba's character. Other plot details are being kept under wraps but the makers are eyeing to begin production in September with shooting location in Atlanta. Besides Reid, Elba, John Cena and David Dastmalchian are the latest entries, with Margot Robbie, Joel Kinnaman, Jai Courtney and Viola Davis reprising their roles. The new film, which is touted as a "complete reboot" of Suicide Squad, is slated for a 2020 release.
