All four members gathered in Seoul for an intimate fan gathering held at the National Museum of Korea in Yongsan District. Alongside the private fan meeting, BLACKPINK launched a collaboration with MU:DS, the museum's official merchandise brand featuring traditional Korean craft items styled with the group's aesthetic. The four singers also hosted a live broadcast on the fan platform Weverse to interact directly with their global fanbase, BLINK.
Following the activities, Lisa took to Instagram to share a message reflecting on the group's decade-long journey. "Thank you so much to all the Blinks who were there with me throughout these ten years!" Lisa wrote in her caption. BLACKPINK Face Backlash Surrounding Event Planning and Scale
Despite the celebration, the anniversary rollout faced criticism from fan communities online. YG Entertainment announced the physical meet-and-greet event on August 6, just two days prior to the August 8 anniversary date. Participation was restricted to a random drawing of 40 paid Weverse membership holders, with exact location details withheld until shortly before the start.
Initial event notices also stated that attendance depended on individual member schedules, raising concerns that the group might not appear together in full. While YG Entertainment later confirmed all four members would attend after adjusting their schedules, fans expressed frustration over the short notice, tight attendance limits, and perceived lack of large-scale commemorative events for a ten-year milestone.
Jisoo Issues Public Apology to BLINK
Addressing the situation directly, Jisoo posted a statement on Weverse to share a heartfelt message with fans, acknowledging the frustration surrounding the milestone event arrangements.
