The news, which came as a shock to many fans, was communicated through an official statement from DSP Media. The agency revealed that the decision was reached after extensive and careful discussions with all four members of the group.
DSP Media's statement expressed gratitude to the group's dedicated fanbase, known as HIDDEN KARD. "After thoughtful discussions with the members, we mutually agreed to conclude KARD's journey with these upcoming promotions," the agency stated. KARD's farewell will be marked by their first-ever full-length studio album, titled 'Where To Now? (Part.2): NOWHERE'. This highly anticipated album is scheduled for release on July 28, 2026, at 6 PM KST across global streaming platforms. The album serves as the conclusion to their "Where To Now?" project, which began with their seventh EP, 'Where To Now? (Part.1: Yellow Light),' released in August 2024. While the first installment explored questions about the group's future, 'NOWHERE' is described as the culmination of that journey, expressing truths discovered through their musical path.
Following the album release, KARD will embark on a final world tour, referred to as the "DRIFT World Tour" or "Now Here" world tour. The tour has already commenced with dates in Tokyo on July 4, 2026. The European leg is set for September, with stops planned in Germany, Spain, the United Kingdom, and Bulgaria.
